The MyTripStarter Team
We are a small team based in the beautiful city of San Diego, California but spread throughout the USA and the world. Some of our favorite travel memories include traffic jams with more bison than cars in Yellowstone National Park, staring down into an active lava lake in Ethiopia and seeing the now extinct Western Black Rhinos of Africa in the wild. When not traveling, we enjoy trekking, triathlons, playing European football/soccer and watching American football (especially the San Diego Chargers).
Collectively we have spent several years traveling to over 80 countries including stints working for newspapers and on cruise ships. Most recently, founders Thomas and Jennifer Gertz went on a 9 month honeymoon in 12 countries spanning 4 continents.
