Traveling in the Philippines was a very pleasant surprise. There were almost no other tourists and a bunch of different islands to 
go to that offered unique experiences. Samal Island, a small island south of Mindano, was my favorite- endless beaches all to 
myself! I even snorkeled with a sea cow/manatee. The Filipinos are very friendly and helpful, but the food does leave something 
to be desired. I want to go back and visit the North.
